Second edition of Punting on the Thames, this time created as a watercolour painting.
The Head of the River is a very popular inn in St. Aldgate's, Oxford in England. Close to the Inn you can hire a punt, for up to 6 people and enjoy a trip down the river for £22 an hour. If you would rather have someone do the 'punting' for you, it's £60 an hour. A great seasonal business, run by the local students. In the background you can see the Folly Bridge, listed as a Grade II historical building.
I found if you went later in the afternoon, even though it was still busy in the height of the season, it wasn't as busy as most of the day.
