Created for another project but I thought I would share it in my gallery too.
Welcome to Endless Skys. I was born and raised in England but I emigrated to Canada over 30 years ago and currently reside in the London, Ontario region. In April 2013, I finally quit the corporate world to focus on my creative side and to learn more about myself through words and pictures. I honestly had no idea if I had a creative bone in my body, but I knew it was time for change. Since then I have simply let my life unfold, going with the flow of wherever my new journey is taking me...one day at a time. I am completely self-taught in all aspects of the art world, from learning to navigate my way around a camera, to the on-going pursuit of developing my skills with all kinds of digital software. I am a professional Digital Artist...

Pennie, how generous a kindred spirit you are! And how truly constructive is your observation about recycling an effort that may not have hit its target... In a way we are all recyclers--or at least re-purposers--of nature as we selectively pick & choose only certain elements & spotlight them to the exclusion of others. Here, for example, you've pulled off the impressive feat of transposing an entire indoor/outdoor scene from one medium to another--quite successfully--with no need for either art form to feel 'snookered'! '!
Pennie McCracken replied:
Joseph your lovely comments are so appreciated, thank you.

I picked this image because someone who is not an artist would have created an uninteresting picture and thought it was art. Starting with good composition and color saturaton and ending with the left side of the picture which you gave a little abstract look, If you have a mastery of various photo fiiters and know how to prepare your images for these filters I wouldn't be surpized.
Pennie McCracken replied:
Thank you Richard for your kind words.
